Black list Support list for November

Month of November Lists

Blacklists:

  • 1) Teleport Dark armed
  • 2) Teleport Dark deck, with malicious and D Draws (Without Dark armed) ~~Poor mans deck
  • 3) Lightsworn
  • 4) Zombies (Even with the new cards coming out for zombies, it's still the basic engines with card of safe returns. The new cards add icing to the cake, it in no way is creating a new win condition or a new engine.)
  • Gladiator Beasts (Even if they arn't winning professionally, they are a rigid deck with little room for improvement. It's actually sad to watch people play this deck, after having never invested the time to actually think of it or work on it, and then lose with it, thinking they were going to win.) We want innovation here, and glads are too rigid for that.

Commentary:
Decks that leave little room for creativity/originality.

To use these is to use someone else's ingenuity and to, frankly, be too lazy to create your own competitive build.

You're either an innovator or a follower and these decks are clearly the decks of followers.

As for variations, these decks are too rigid to make variations to, and any few cards replaced have little to no effect on the net power of the deck. People will not change the engines in these decks and the cards they replace will not change the net outcomes of the deck. An example of changing the engines of a deck would be like taking out D draws, mallicious, and Dark arms. In that case, whatever deck you made, would truly be a variant.

Support lists:

  • 2) Gear town decks
  • 4) Teleport Variants of different attributes.*
  • 5) Psychic deck

  • 12) Plant Variants (Mark of the rose, lonefire blossom, gigaplant) *

*= Decks i built or am working on

Commentary:
These decks have a chance to shine if people would stop being lazy and invest the time and thought into them, needed for them to win.

I've added little card hints to some of the decks to get you going in the right direction, as far as deck engine goes. Some of them have no hints because their deck engines are pretty obvious.

I've also added links to a couple of the cards that are not as well known, so you can click on the names and read their effects.

My Main Deck:
The deck i personally use is an Earth/Teleport variant that uses Jinzo's and Decree's as well as Gigantis, psychic commander, and krebons. It's called "The Living World" because the vast majority of the monsters are Earth, they're the backbone of the deck.

The reason why it's the "living" world though, is because there are lots of other attributes and types in there. There's a Light attributed Cyber dragon, a dark attributed Breaker, and a number of other different types and attributes.

It reflects our own world, the variety of it, and it uses the powerhouse of the Earth attribute with psychics and teleports to bring home the match win through special summoned gigantis's.

There are lots of different aspects to the deck and spell/trap cards no one else uses as well (in duplicates), but i don't want to share all my secrets ;) , and it's always best to leave room for creativity, so the readers can add their own flavor to it.

Winning

Make your wins feel how they're supposed to, and build one of the many different support decks that we listed here.

When you smack down your opponent and you earn the gratitude of your fellow team mates, you'll know it was with a deck YOU created, and you toiled over.

After all, isn't deck building half the fun of the card game? It is for us anyways.

Til next time, this is Unimetagame, the Unique Metagame.
