Stardust Dragon Assault mode

(It'll either be the most potentially lethal card/deck theme to hit yugioh, making it a force to be reckoned with, or it will be the tin we all bought and all regretted)

A brand new tin is being released on March 17th.
The packs in it aren't anything to brag about and you won't get too much value for your money.
But you will be getting something that will be the buying point of the tin.

Lets look at the contents:
  • 3 Duelist Pack Yusei
  • 1 The Duelist Genesis Booster Pack
  • 1 Preview Pack of 3 Foil Cards from Raging Battle
  • 1 Exclusive "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode" Card
  • 1 5D's Beginners Guide

So what's so special about this Stardust assault mode?
Lets blow up the text of the card:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of this card and "Assault Mode Activate". When the effect of a Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster is activated, you can Tribute this card to negate the activation and effect of that card, and destroy it. During the End Phase of the turn in which this effect is used, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. When this face-up card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Stardust Dragon" in your Graveyard.

No bold predictions here; there just isn't enough info to work with and a huge lack of play testing.

Like I mentioned above, It'll either be the biggest thing to shake our metagame or a vast amount of hot air.

Regardless it will make an impact on our wallets most likely. (Or our trade binders :D )

LOL, you all saw me, I placed second in our Local with Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode... wait a second... isn't ASSAULT a worse word than BUSTER? You know... verbal assault, physical assault, and sexual assault? What negativity can be applied to BUSTER? I smell hypocracy (sp?) Wow... Sorry I went off there, but yes, I don't think it's hot air, seeing as I did place SECOND with the PROTOTYPE... anyway there's my thoughts on the subject.

Yea Ty,

They never even play tested your deck or ran it themselves, but they immediately said it would lose.

Yet you went undefeated and only lost in the last round.

It must have felt awesome to prove them wrong.

I'm just mad they came to all those conclusions without ever playing the deck.

Get ready to take the rest of them down tomorrow!!
