The first is a list of official Konami tournament stores.
It's still in the very early stages and will be updated many times in the months to come.
California for instance only has 3 different stores listed as of right now.
As time goes on though you'll see that list swarm to possibly over 50 strong.

The second announcement is about the Crimson Crisis special edition boxes:
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. Announces Availability of
Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Crimson Crisis Special Edition
Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Latest in Extensive 2009 Release Schedule
El Segundo, CA – (April 01, 2009) – Building on the success of the recently released Crimson Crisis 100-card booster set, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KDE) today has released Crimson Crisis Special Edition. The Crimson Crisis Special Edition is now available nationwide at hobby and retail stores. The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG and Crimson Crisis Special Edition will be supported by a national television advertising campaign on The CW 4Kids from April 4 through April 18.
Crimson Crisis Special Edition provides Duelists with three packs of the latest Yu-G-Oh! 5D’s TRADING CARD GAME booster plus one of two Super Rare Variant Cards: Necroface or Goblin Zombie. Previously released as Secret Rares, these powerful Zombies enhance many top Deck types, including top tournament Decks that use Zombies to bring out the most powerful new Synchro Monsters. Crimson Crisis Special Edition will sell for an approximate retail price of $9.99.
Crimson Crisis Special Edition builds on the Crimson Crisis booster released in March, which included the all-new Assault Mode monsters – incredible transformations of the Synchro Monsters, with massive attack points and potent effects. Crimson Crisis also features new favorite cards used by Yusei, Jack, and Crow in their Duels on the popular new animated series Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
“Our goal is to keep Duelists interested in the game and by continually offering unique cards and content as we do in Crimson Crisis Special Edition, we can do just that. The variant cards we included in the Crimson Crisis Special Edition will rekindle interest in the Zombie World Structure Deck and the Crossroads of Chaos booster set,” commented Yumi Hoashi, Vice President of Card Business for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. “And at $9.99 for three packs and a Super Rare card this is a terrific value,” added Hoashi.

As mentioned in a previous article, it's nice to finally start seeing some good Special edition boxes. The stuff UDE was previously putting in them was horrible.
Goblin Zombie and Necroface will be 2 very useful cards that were extremely hard to come by earlier.
Also, keep your eyes out on the new spellcaster structure deck that was released on the 31st of March.
