Setting was also taken away in the old days of the game by cards like Dark Ruler Ha Des, BLS - EotB, CED - EotE, Nobleman of Crossout, the legality of cards like Dark Hole, Raigeki, and Duster, and the like. It's not like it's anything new, but rather that setting has always been a risky play that pays off greatly when you successfully reveal your set card(s).

Agreed, setting was taken away from us by Glads and DAD... With DAD fell Glads, but no with the fall of DAD Glads are back, and OH NO, we also have LIGHTSWORN this time! Setting is still going to be slim to none because Ehren kicks, Lyla kills spell/trap, Celestia just blows up the first two things she lays her eyes on, and Judgment Dragon, well he's unbiased, he'll kill everything. (Selfish bastard)

Now in the NEXT set, Raging Battle, we have to worry about BLACKWINGS... fun right? WRONG! Even though I'm a proud user of Blackwings to support my Stardust Fetish, I can see where this Banlist is taking us [insert toilet flushing here.] I must admit, disregarding the next set, this list will HELP the setting of monsters but will not completely bring them back either, and overall helps in people actually being CREATIVE.
